If your kids are inclined to leave out plates of cookies for Santa and carrots for his reindeer on Christmas Eve, we think they’ll flip for this sweet idea: tiny “doughnuts” for Santa’s elves! We spotted this adorable idea on Pinterest, where we traced it back to a great blog called The Unconfidential Cook. Apart from being fantastically cute, these Elf Doughnuts are also very easy to make and perfect for little hands, so if you’re looking for a way to keep wee ones occupied and entertained during a busy Christmas Eve afternoon, this is just the ticket.

What you’ll need:
• Cheerios or other O-shaped cereal
• Nutella or melted chocolate
• Sprinkles
• Powdered sugar and/or cinnamon sugar

You’ll find more mini-sized treats and photos of these Elf Doughnuts over at The Unconfidential Cook. For more great Christmas treat ideas, check out these Christmas Tree Brownies and Strawberry Cheesecake Santa Hats.
