Woolly Bumblebee
Soft yarn imitates the furry bodies that retain heat for early spring flying.
The Materials
- A glue-dotted blown-out egg
- Yarn (the wider the string, the easier it is)
- Black ribbon
- Gold pipe cleaner
The How-to
Wrap egg with yarn, tucking tails into top and bottom holes. Glue on ribbon stripes. Bend pipe cleaner into heart shapes
for fore and rear wings; curl around finger for antennae.
