my week

A dynamic partnership between Jennifer, a certified teacher, industrial designer and mother of two girls with one on the way, and Nathalie, an engineer, mathematician and mother of two boys, began with the dream of helping families like theirs. The objectives: to stimulate their business sides, to contribute to their family financially and to create a truly beneficial product that engages and educates children. The result: a wipeable, magnetic calendar organized by the days of the week that comes with oh-so-cute graphic magnets that introduce seasons, the weather, special events and routines. Their idea came organically because of the busy weekly schedules of their own children, and through their invention, the women hope to have created something concrete and tangible that will help kids visualize the concept of time to help them gain independence and prepare themselves for daily activities. Each calendar comes with 58 activity magnets, a dry erase marker and reusable storage bag. $20, 2Fish Kids. (2fishkids.com)
