Felt Stockings

You’ll Need

• two different colours of felt

• stick-on felt letters, shapes, buttons etc. to decorate

• ribbon

Instructions

1. Cut two pieces of felt into stocking shapes, leaving one inch for a seam.

2. Cut a rectangle from a different colour of felt to sit at the top of the stocking. Add trim, if desired.

3. Sew the stocking and rectangle together.

4. Decorate with stick-on felt letters, shapes, buttons, etc., available at craft supply stores.

5. Sew a secure ribbon loop to the back of the stocking for hanging.

Tip: You can hand-stitch felt if you don’t have a sewing machine. Just use even hand stitches, and make sure they’re close enough together to give support to heavy stocking stuffers
