Exploring the Yukon

This summer explore the splendor of the Yukon's golden frontier - where the attractions are wild, natural and authentic. It’s a territory of extremes so read on to catch all the excitement.

Canada’s status as the true north strong and free figures prominently in our national anthem, in the books we read in school and in the way we think about ourselves as a people. But when it comes right down to it, how much do you really know about how things work above the 60th parallel? Renowned author and Yukon native Pierre Berton labelled Canada’s north “mysterious,” and indeed, most Canadians picture a mystical, snowbound place filled with grizzled prospectors, dog sleds and endless forests.
