Eddie Bauer Soothe & Sway Playard

Tested by Carita Weller and Maija, 1, Newcastle, Ont.

Price $180

Dimensions 45″ x 48″ x 29.5″

Weight 35 lbs

Features Removable rocking bassinet with three soft toys. Musical centre with five songs and sounds, and nightlight. Includes separate carry bag for travel. Equipped with removable flip changing table.

Pros “Set-up was easy; the second time I did it in less than a minute by myself. It is beautiful and the neutral colours would match the decor in most homes. The wheels are very helpful and make it easy to move the play yard around. The floorboard is nicely padded and makes a comfortable mattress.”

Cons The floorboard seems quite wobbly when the child walks on it. Although it is quite easy to carry the play yard in the carry bag, I wouldn’t call it light. It is unfortunate that there are no machine-washable parts.”

Rating 8/10
