"We loved this recipe. The ketchup was sweet and spicy but in no way too hot for kids. Kate ate the slider like it was her only meal." —Dan Anzil, dad of Kate, 6, Toronto Tip: Burgers are great to make in advance; wrap individually and freeze. Cook burgers without defrosting, just like the ones you buy in a box (except these ones taste a whole lot better!).

Prep Time
10 minutes
Ingredients
  • 1 lb medium ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup finely grated onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Spicy Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (1 1/2 oz)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together. Add more panko if mixture is too wet. Season lightly with pepper.

  2. Form mixture into 12 (2 oz) burgers, using a 1/4 cup scoop as your guide. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to grill.

  3. Preheat barbecue to high. Scrape and lightly oil grill. Sear burgers and then reduce heat slightly. Grill, with lid down, for 3-4 minutes; then turn and grill another 3-4 minutes. Top sliders with sweet spicy ketchup and serve on toasted slider buns.
