Excitement Builds Over Harry Potter Theme Park at Universal

Any Harry Potter fans will be thrilled to learn about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, due to open at Universal Studios Orlando in Spring 2010.

Try butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks, shop for a wand at Ollivander’s, journey through Hogwarts on a “never seen before” ride, and try to win the Triwizard Tournament on the Dragon Challenge twin rollercoaster. You can even wander through Hogsmeade and pick up a few chocolate frogs at Honeydukes.

“Most of the fans have always wanted to go to Hogwarts,” said Paul Daurio, producer of Wizarding World. “They’ll be able to touch, feel, walk, peruse and enjoy what that experience is like. They are absolutely taken on a journey through the story in something more than a ride. They’re transported into the film. It’s a completely immersive, thrilling journey.”

The “theme park within a theme park” will fill 20 acres with rides, attractions and restaurants.
