Make Your Own Mini Travel Game
Ten minutes and a trip to the dollar store is all you need to craft this sweet all-in-one tic-tac-toe game

It’s easy for kids to get restless during long (or even short) car rides. Luckily, it’s easy to keep them occupied with simple DIYs, such as this travel-friendly version of tic-tac-toe. With just a few inexpensive and easy-to-find materials that you likely already have in your house, a parent or older sibling can put together this cute and colourful magnetic game that little ones will adore.
Materials:
- Altoids tin
- Mini magnets
- Patterned paper
- 10 buttons, five each of two colours
Instructions:
1. Cut paper to fit in bottom and top of Altoids tin, then glue.
2. Use strips of paper to make tic-tac-toe grid.
3. With hot glue attach buttons to magnets.
