For a really cute project that your kids can help out with, try making one of these sock puppets, suggested by Better Homes and Gardens on their site! They have baby chicks, an octopus, a panda, a frog, and many more. Let your kids pick their favourite and make them together as a family project!

We really like the giraffe, created with a knee sock for an extra long neck, and felt is used to create the circles.

Here’s what you need:

- Scissors
- Socks
- Sewing machine
- Batting
- Black and orange felt
- Black buttons
