Meet the Winner of the Family with S’More Contest!

We’ve tallied over 1,600 votes, and are pleased to announce the winner of our Family with S’More Contest! Pamela Biron of Ottawa made an impression with her sweet story about building a new family and sharing their love of S’mores.
“I had a loving fiancé and stepdaughter who shared my love of gooey marshmallows over warm, melted chocolate and sweet, crumbly graham crackers,” explained Pamela in her entry. “When the time came, and we were finally ready to unite our new family by marriage, we decided there was no better thing to do than to have a S’mores buffet at our wedding.”

And if you’re in the Greater Toronto Area, be sure to come and enjoy some S’mores in celebration of National S’Mores Day on August 10th at Harbourfront Centre from noon to 3:00 p.m. Pamela will be onsite to help prepare the famous, chocolatey treat, and you’ll also be able to have a family photo taken to commemorate the memories that come with S’mores—a treat that’s been around for more than 80 summers.
