This is one of the smartest buys parents can make that can add up to real savings and makes a great holiday gift with little effort, since most can be purchased online. Canada’s amusement parks only have the spring and summer to accumulate the bulk of their annual profit, so they run huge promotions on season passes in December as well as some in April, right before upping the price in May. Most of the amusement parks we checked from coast to coast had $20 to $40 savings off the regular season pass just before Christmas.
