Art Zone
Encourage creativity by hanging art. The Style Dept. crew took a high-resolution digital photo of one of Taylor’s drawings to a printing house and had it blown up. They spray-mounted it to a large piece of foam-core cut to size (you could also use Masonite for a sturdier result). Keep in mind that the larger you make the image, the fuzzier it becomes. A separate drawing board provides kids with a place to explore their artistic side without compromising the homework area. Tip: Update wall art every couple of years to reflect your child’s personality or current tastes. It’s an easy (and affordable!) way to make a room grow with them.
