Three Incredible New-Mom Makeovers

Tammy Robinson

mom of three-month-old Cassidy.

Her life: A first-time mom, Robinson faced one major ob-stacle on her road to parenthood that most women her age don’t have to deal with: rheumatoid arthritis. The pain is kept under control with a combination of medications that she had to discontinue for three months prior to conceiving and throughout her pregnancy. Although the first few months were painful without meds, Robinson’s symptoms, as is typical, completely disappeared for the remainder of her pregnancy and baby Cassidy was born without any complications.

Her struggle: Robinson knew she would have at least a month or two after giving birth before her symptoms would return, forcing her to resume her medication. In the meantime, she was determined to breastfeed Cassidy until then. Robinson quickly bounced back to her pre-baby figure—except for her breasts, which grew by two cup sizes. Finding tops that would accommodate her newly augmented bust was a challenge. “Even my T-shirts looked indecent,” she jokes.
