3 Easy No-Carve Pumpkin Ideas

Pumpkins, with a little glitter and elbow grease, can serve as the perfect table centre decorations, whether scary, sparkly or silly. Grab the glue, gather your little ghost and goblins and get to it!

Black as night and covered with creepy crawlies, this pile o’ pumpkins will set a sinister tone.

What you need

- A clear cake plate
- A selection of small pumpkins or gourds
- Synthetic black flowers
- A selection of plastic creepy crawlies (we used spiders, ghosts, snakes and rats)
- A large fake raven (optional)
- Black acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- Purple glitter
- Glue gun

1. Cover working surface with newspaper, and wear an apron
or protective clothing.
2. Wash pumpkins with water to remove any dirt. Dry thoroughly.
3. Give pumpkins two coats of black paint, allowing them
to dry in between.
4. Before the second coat dries, sprinkle purple glitter
onto wet pumpkins. Allow to dry.
5. Affix any creepy crawlies with a glue gun.
6. Arrange on cake plate with black synthetic flowers
surrounding the base.
