Tested by five-month-old Tabitha, with mom Cavell Rideout Hampton, Paradise, Nfld.
Price: $150
Recommended Use: Up to 30 lbs.
Swing Speeds: Five with timer.
Recline Positions: Three
Musical Offerings: Three melodies and nature and womb sounds.
Power Source: Batteries
Features: Includes a five-point harness, pivoting mobile with three removable toys, a cradling seat pad with machine-washable cover, headrest, folding metal frame and swing tray.
Pros: "The styling is gender neutral, which is great if we have more kids, and it doesn't look out of place in an adult space. The motor is quiet and it's light and can be moved easily. Tabitha falls asleep within 15 minutes every time. The music sounds like instrumental adult contemporary, which was a nice surprise."
Cons: I'd like it to be more visually stimulating: the mobile looks nice but it doesn't move. It doesn't have an upright seat position. The volume control button should have LED lights for dim room lighting, and a master on/off switch to make things easier."
Rating: 8/10
