Materials

  • Small hardcover novel
  • Large book with lots of white space or scrap pieces of paper from maps, comics, etc.
  • X-acto knife
  • Hot glue
  • Hot glue gun
  • Scrap fabric
  • Scissors
  • Needle
  • Thread

Whether it is for yourself or a gift for someone else, choose paper from similarly themed books. For a sketchbook, use comic book pages and for a diary, choose pages from a poetry book.
