3 Easy Fall Crafts

The temperature may be dropping, but there are plenty of ways for your kids to have a little fun with the change of season. Learn how to make a sunflower bird feeder, a corn husk doll, or a harvest necklace and get some fresh air while you're at it!

Harvest Necklace

Ages
6+
Time it takes
30 minutes (not including drying time)
Materials
• Thread
• Large Needle
• Scissors
• Cookie cutters
• Dried apples, sliced
• Dried corn pieces
• Dried pumpkin seeds
• Dried cranberries
Steps
1. Thread the needle and tie a big knot at the end.
2. Thread on dried fruit and veggies in whatever pattern you choose.
3. Create shapes out of the apple slices using cookie cutters: lie flat, position cutter and press down firmly. .
4. When you’ve reached your desired length of necklace—making sure that it is long enough to fit over your head when the ends are together—tie the ends together.
