18 Fantastic Costume Ideas for Preschoolers

Skunk

Do you have one hooded black sweatsuit and two black gloves lying around? If you do, you can make this awesome costume!
What else you’ll need: Extra-large pieces of white and black felt, double-sided tape, Velcro tape, black and white face paint

Directions:

1. Cut a large, teardrop-shaped tail (long enough to go from the sweatshirt neckline to the floor) from the black felt. 2. Cut a smaller version of the tail out of white felt and attach to the black felt using double-sided tape. Attach the top of the finished tail to the neckline of the sweatshirt using Velcro tape. 3. Cut a large oval from the white felt and attach to the sweatshirt using double-sided tape. Cut ear-shaped pieces from black and white felt and attach to hood using Velcro. 4. Paint child’s face to resemble a skunk.
