Stroller
We’re confident that 2011 will be the year of the mid-size stroller-rides that merge the best of a full-size (durability, car-seat adaptability) with the best of an umbrella (easy fold, portability). Bugaboo is leading the pack with the relaunch of its Bee. Like before, it boasts a forward-rear-facing seat, adjustable handlebar, full recline and swivel suspension. Updates include a wider frame, an extendable back and a seat that swivels to rear facing.
“I’ve tried a lot of strollers, and it’s hard to find fault with this one, except it doesn’t have a pram attachment though a car-seat adaptor and baby cocoon are sold separately. It’s nice to push something that’s sturdy and smooth but doesn’t feel or look like a tank. There’s no reason why I would ever need another stroller.”Elena Sarnen, mom of Teoman, 4, and eight-month-old Anna, Vancouver.
