Remove sausage from casing and cook in a large pot over medium heat, until meat is no longer pink. Break it up into small pieces as it cooks. Add apples during last few minutes of cooking.
Add butter and water and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add cranberries and stuffing mix. Stir to combine then transfer to large greased baking pan or casserole container.
Cover and bake at 350-deg. F for 60 minutes.
