Makes about 10 bees
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) smooth peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) liquid honey
  • 1 (1/4 cup/125 mL) crumbled shredded wheat cereal biscuit
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) skim-milk powder
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) sesame seeds
  • cocoa powder
  • sliced almonds
  • currants
  • Directions
  • 1.

    In a medium bowl, stir together peanut butter and honey.

  • 2.

    Stir in crumbled cereal biscuit, skim-milk powder and sesame seeds.

  • 3.

    Form heaping teaspoonfuls of mixture into bee shapes.

  • 4.

    Dip a toothpick into cocoa powder and press gently onto bees' bodies to form stripes.

  • 5.

    Press almonds into sides of each bee for wings.

  • 6.

    Cut currants in half, stick on bees' faces for eyes.
