Warm Steak Salad with Creamy Salsa Dressing

Ingredients
  • ¾ pound sirloin steak
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped tomato
  • 6 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 4 cups Romaine lettuce, shredded
Directions
  1. Rub steak on both sides with oil and season with salt and pepper. Broil, barbecue or sear until done to your liking.

  2. Place lettuce on a platter. Slice steak and arrange it on lettuce. Spoon tomato mixture over steak.
