Pancakes with Strawberries & Honey Syrup

Delicious pancakes covered with sweet honey and strawberries on top.

Ingredients
  • 2 Cups flour
  • 3/4 Cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 11/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinches of salt
  • 1/2 Cups milk
  • 4-5 strawberries
  • honey
  • Directions
  • 1.

    Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt & egg in a bowl.

  • 2.

    Add the milk & beat until the mixture is thick & smooth. If the batter is not smooth, add an additional small amount of milk.

  • 3.

    Prepare the stove by turning on to medium heat.

  • 4.

    Put a frying pan on the stove & add 1/4 cup of batter to the frying pan.

  • 5.

    Heat until the top of the batter starts to bubble. When it starts to bubble, flip the pancake over to brown the other side for approximately 4-5 minutes. If both sides are not golden brown, then heat until the brownness is desired.

  • 6.

    Place pancakes on a plate. Cut up 4-5 strawberries & place on top of pancakes.

  • 7.

    Drizzle honey over top of the pancakes.

  • 8.

    Makes approximately 6-8 pancakes.
