Jane’s Killer Chocolate Cookies

You truly cannot get much more chocolate into a single cookie.

Ingredients
  • 1 Cup granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 pound bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 pound white chocolate, chopped into -inch pieces
  • Directions
  • 1.

    Preheat the oven to 325 F.

  • 2.

    Whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and salt in a large mixing bowl until pale yellow in colour.

  • 3.

    Add the melted dark chocolate.

  • 4.

    In a separate bowl, mix together the flour and baking soda.

  • 5.

    Add dry ingredients to egg and chocolate mixture, and stir in the white chocolate.

  • 6.

    Working quickly, drop generous tablespoon-sized portions of batter 2 inches apart onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • 7.

    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes and don't be tempted to over-bake.

  • 8.

    Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
