Grilled Halibut with Lemon-Herb Crust

Ingredients
  • 3/4 Cups (175 ml ) fresh bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml ) grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml ) finely grated lemon zest
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml ) Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml ) chopped fresh tarragon
  • 1 pound (500 g ) halibut fillets, about 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick, skin left on
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • Directions
  • 1.

    Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan, lemon zest, salt and pepper in a bowl and toss to form a crumbly mixture.

  • 2.

    In another bowl, combine mayonnaise and tarragon.

  • 3.

    Arrange fish (skin-side-down) on a platter.

  • 4.

    Spread each fillet with Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise mixture and press on crumb mixture.

  • 5.

    Preheat barbecue on high for 10 mins. Reduce heat to medium-high.

  • 6.

    Arrange fillets on bbq skin-side-down. Lower lid and cook until fish flakes easily with fork and topping is nicely browned, about 10-12 mins.

  • 7.

    Drizzle lemon juice over each fillet. Serve immediately.
