Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. When water is boiling, add pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water, and return pasta to pot.
While pasta is boiling, sprinkle bacon with chili flakes and microwave for 60 seconds, until just crisp.
Whisk together cream, eggs and cheese. Add bacon and the cream mixture to pasta and toss to coat. Add some reserved past water to help loosen the sauce. Top with fresh ground pepper and serve with extra cheese.
