1 start with a themeor style as your inspiration to help you stay focused. Suzanne and her crew started with a light blue bubble motif (perfect for the bathroom). They played it up with a circular pattern on the curtain fabric, bath mat and wall decals.
Peel-and-stick wall decals are a great, temporary alternative to wallpaper. These were custom-coloured to match the blue of the tub and accessories, then cut out so they could be spaced out along the wall.
Traditional, dark wood cabinetry was softened with fresh, striped fabric panels inserted in the recessed portions of the doors.
Since the whole family uses this bathroom, a couple of hooks were hung down low, making it easy for little ones to hang up their towels. A whitewashed step stool gives them a boost up to the faucet.
The original chandelier was updated by adding a simple light blue ribbon trim around the edges of the shades.
Pretty blue and white bathroom accessories inject more colour and counter-worthy bottles, soaps and face cloths are kept tidy and easy to reach on a tray.
Custom Roman-style blinds elevate the look of the bathroom and continue the bubble theme with their circular pattern.
A white vinyl area rug with large blue dots was too perfect to pass up, so we added a non-slip backing to the underside to create an oversized bath mat.
