5 Hair Products to Use When You Don’t Have Time to Shower

What to do when you don't have time to shampoo

Take it up

Hair, a few days after washing, actually stays in an updo better than squeaky-clean locks. Use a paddle brush to smooth hair up into a high ponytail, or pull it into a low pony and wrap the ends around the elastic, hiding bobby pins underneath the bun.

Band it

A wide headband is a great way to hide oily roots near your face. Go for chic black or tortoiseshell.

Roll with it

Wrap sections of hair around a curling iron. Work some pomade onto your hands and then lightly brush out the curls with your fingers. Voila—instant sexy, beach-y waves.

No water needed

“Dry” shampoos are becoming more and more popular. Sprinkle a palm-full into your hands and dust through hair or spray directly on your roots to absorb oil and give hair added texture.
