Be consistent with bedtime routines.
- Make sure your little one has enough vigorous exercise (about 20 minutes) during the day.
- Start the wind-down a couple of hours before bedtime.
- As bedtime approaches, speak in quiet voices, and cuddle up in bed to read.
- By the time he’s rubbing his eyes and cranky he should already be in bed, so try putting him to bed about half an hour earlier than you think.
- Pay attention to your babe’s own sleep schedule — you want to put him down when he’s tired, but not too tired. You’ll know he’s tired when he becomes a little quieter and a little less busy.

temperature’s rising
Stock up on thermal tees and long underwear, to wear on their own or to add a layer of warmth under winter clothes.
