These aren't your grandmother's Jell-O moulds. We played with flavour, texture and taste to create some beautiful, delicious and thoroughly modern desserts.

8 Delicious Twists on the Traditional Jell-O Desser

Banana Split Jell-O


Ingredients

  • 2 packages unflavoured gelatine
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 prepared package of cherry Jell-O
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup of Oreo crumbs

Directions

  • Mix two packages unflavoured gelatine with ¼ cup cold water. Stir.
  • Add two cans of sweetened condensed milk. Pour a thin layer of this mix into a greased mould. Chill to set.
  • Add one prepared package of cherry Jell-O. Chill to set.
  • Slice a banana and add to ? milk portion. Add to mould. Chill to set.
  • Mix remaining milk with ½ cup of Oreo crumbs. Add to mould. Chill until set.
