With costumes to be made, a house to be decorated and candy (or other goodies) to be purchased for trick-or-treaters, you may find yourself short on time when it comes to cooking up some Halloween treats for your little ones. If that’s the case, we think you’ll love these adorable No-Bake Marshmallow Witches from the talented foodies over at Taste of Home.
Apart from being incredibly easy to put together (you can make a dozen in about half an hour), these marshmallow snacks combine some seriously yummy ingredients that will make them a huge hit with kids and adults alike (Hershey’s Kisses and mini peanut butter cups? Sign us up!) And because there is no baking involved, little chefs can help with the assembly of these tasty treats, too.
What you’ll need:
• Large marshmallows
• Vanilla frosting
• Mini semisweet chocolate chips
• Green, red and yellow food colouring (optional)
• Flaked coconut
• Thin chocolate wafers
• Mini peanut butter cups
• Hershey’s Kisses
You’ll find the complete recipe and directions for these No-Bake Marshmallow Witches on the Taste of Home website. If peanut allergies are a concern, simply omit the peanut butter cups—you’ll still get the fun witch-hat effect without them.
