Top Rated Non-stick Frying Pans

Our readers stuck it to these ceramic-coated pans by following this four-step test:

  • Cook scrambled and fried eggs with 1 tablespoon of oil or butter.
  • Cook scrambled and fried eggs without any oil or butter.
  • Test scratch resistance claim with metal utensils.
  • Let pan sit dirty overnight; clean the next day.

Traditional non-stick pans release toxins during manufacturing and when overheated or scratched. Pans tested do not contain PerFluoroOctanoic acid (PFOA) or PolyTetraFluoro- Ethylene (PTFE).

BUYER TIP:

Aluminum pans generally conduct heat well, but hardened anodized aluminum pans are more durable. Look for riveted handles as a sign of strength and quality.
