Awesome Edible Craft Idea: Marshmallow Robots

Photography by Dawn, Not Just a Mommy

Marshmallows? Good. Robots? Very good. Adorable edible robots made out of marshmallows? Now that’s just plain awesome.

We stumbled upon this edible craft idea over at Not Just a Mommy, the blog of creative mama of two, Dawn. With a few supplies from the bulk food store and a little imagination, you can easily keep the kids entertained for an afternoon indoors when the weather is crummy (it’s not looking too hot outside our office window today, that’s for sure…). We think it would be a great activity for a birthday party, too!

What you’ll need:
• Marshmallows (large and small)
• Pretzel sticks
• Frosting (for “glue”)
•  Various candy decorations (Dawn used candy eyes, Gummy Life Savers, Skittles, sprinkles, etc.)

You’ll find more of Dawn’s robot creations, along with step-by-step instructions, over at Not Just a Mommy. For more fun edible craft ideas, try these Japanese Marshmallow Candies and these fun Monster Brownies.
