Want to get inside the minds of some of your favorite Canadian TV personalities? Check out Passion Profiles, a unique online talk show featuring host Cheryl Hickey and brought to you by Häagen-Dazs.
Each of the four episodes will offer a rare and fascinating glimpse of some of your favorite personalities as you’ve never seen them before. First up, you’ll learn about the passions, inspirations and dreams of Food Network hosts Anna and Michael Olson, as they sit down for an intimate chat with veteran celeb interviewer Cheryl Hickey. After a brief stint in banking, Anna decided to follow her true passion to a career in cooking. After culinary school and working as a chef in New Orleans, Anna wound up in the Niagara region, where she met and married Michael Olson, also a notable chef. Anna hosts Fresh with Anna Olson and Sugar on the Food Network, is the author of a number of cookbooks. Together, the Olsons have collaborated on many delectable recipes, some of which can be found in their cookbook Anna and Michael Olson Cook at Home.
Here at CF.ca, we were also invited to submit a few questions for Cheryl to ask during her interview, so watch for their answers to our queries (we hope to learn some juicy cooking secrets).
Starting today, July 28th, you can visit passionprofiles.ca to get up close and personal with the Olsons!

Jon Gosselin says he hated being on TV and wanted to return to a regular life. At least the TV part has come true. TLC announced that Gosselin will no longer appear on the reality series and the show will be renamed Kate Plus 8. According to people.com, sources say there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting dad when he was cavorting across Europe and partying with bikini clad women in Las Vegas. “Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family,” TLC president Eileen O’Neill said in a statement. “The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate’s journey really resonates with our viewers.” Kate Plus 8 will premiere on November 2.
One of our male colleagues (who must like celebrity sites a lot more than we realized) sent us this slideshow of celebrities who had their babies after 40. In some cases, quite a bit after 40. Celine Dion, Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon and Nicole Kidman (left), all fall into the category.
Do you know anyone who has had babies over 40? Was it harder? Easier? Scarier? Less scary? Tell us!

So, the songbird of Quebec is pregnant again, with an embryo that’s been frozen for eight years.
We say congrats, good for her, best of health and happiness to the whole family.
However, it’s been getting so much press lately that we’ve started to wonder: what’s the big deal? Is it because she’s Celine? Is it because she’s 41? Is it because she used IVF?
“I think women are afraid to say that they don’t want children because they’re going to get shunned. But I think that’s changing too now. I have more girlfriends who don’t have kids than those that do. And honestly? We don’t need any more kids. We have plenty of people on this planet.” – Cameron Diaz in the new issue of Cosmo
