Little Declan (with first mate Sophie) was sent to us by mom Jean McFeely of Brockville.  Jean describes the photo best: “At the time the picture was taken Daddy had taken him to Ottawa to participate in his first charity event at the YMCA-YWCA. Both my husband and I work for the Y and having children that have an awareness of their philanthropic potential is important. Needless to say, while in Ottawa it was very tough for Daddy to resist breaking out the baby jogger and taking Declan for a run along the canal. It was a beautiful day and even though Declan was teething, he had his best friend Sophie (what a God send) with him. This was the before picture, and it makes me laugh out loud, because Declan looks how I feel sometimes, at the thought of getting out there and doing a workout. But once finished, you know you’ll feel better – and so did Declan. He was all smiles once they returned. ”

Nikola, we could just eat you up!

It may be a bit grey and gloomy in Toronto today, but inside our office, it’s anything but. What’s our secret? Cute photos!

Our day has been instantly brightened, thanks to this incredibly adorable photo of Baby Nikola, who seems to have found herself in some hot water… (Just kidding!)

Mom Petra Heppner of Vernon, B.C., says that Nikola, 3 months, is “Fun and always happy and smiling!” She certainly has us smiling today, too.

Little 6-month-old Lily isn’t a huge fan of being on her tum, says mom Cindy Ambrose, of Toronto, but she usually hangs out long enough for a few snaps to be taken. We love this sweet shot of Lily enjoying the sunshine.

That is one snazzy haircut, Ben!

There are so many things to be thankful for today, it might be impossible to have the Monday Grumps. There’s the sunshine and warm weather, but more importantly, there’s Ben.

We get so many great photos from our readers that it’s hard for us to choose our favourites, but Ben has officially stolen our hearts. Now 19 months, this photo was snapped by Ben’s grandma, Diane, of Brantford, Ont., after his very first haircut. Ben’s grandma is trying to instill in her grandson his late mother’s love of books—and we’d say she’s been very successful so far. Look at that adorable smile!

(Diane also let us know that Ben’s dad, Dwayne, is one awesome dad. We have a feeling that it runs in the family.)

Baby Quinton is the best Father's Day gift of all!

With Father’s Day literally right around the corner, our office has been buzzing with all things “Dad.” So when mom Angela Ross of Norwood, Ont., sent us photos of her husband Nelson and their adorable son, our hearts couldn’t help but melt.

Baby Quinton, 4 months, is Angela and Nelson’s first child, and the new parents are completely overjoyed by his arrival. We don’t blame them! With his sweet little smile and big blue eyes, Quinton is just too cute for words.

We hope that Nelson enjoys his first Father’s Day as a doting dad!

Carter is Winnie's biggest fan!

Last week, we blogged about our excitement over the news of a new Winne the Pooh movie. From the smile on little Carter’s adorable face, we bet he’s pretty psyched about it, too!

Proud parents Kerry and Evan Schwab of Surrey, B.C., snapped this great photo of Carter, 9 months, during a family trip to Disneyland earlier this year. No wonder he’s so excited—it is, after all, the happiest place on Earth!

It’s a little gloomy in Toronto today, but looking at this shot, submitted by mom Micheline Perna of Repentigny, Que., reminds us that summer isn’t too far away. This pic of Brianna (10) and Lara (8), was taken four years ago during a family vacation to Wildwood, NJ.

Sweet Sienna is one cute little napper!

Sweet little Sienna looks adorable and fresh faced after a nap in this shot submitted by mom Barb Zeisel of Ottawa. As Barb explains, “There is nothing I love more than seeing my sweet little Sienna when she wakes up from a nap.  Sienna just turned 2, and she is full of energy. She talks to her little puppy before she falls asleep, and when she wakes up her bright blue eyes light up the room.”
