Do you really want to post that?

Anyone can read a blog – friends, parents, teachers and prospective employers. And it’s not just your teen’s business revealed – a friend or family member might not appreciate having the details of their lives sent into cyberspace.

What does your blog say about you?
Kids will often push the boundaries of their own character, or exaggerate on their blog.

How anonymous is your blog?
Teens may include information that could be used to identify them, like the name of their school, the local mall, etc.

Who visits your blog?

Online friendships should always be discussed with a parent. Teens may also come across hate groups or other offensive material through their blogs.
