PumpEaseT

This product won over moms and non-moms alike in our office because of its originality and function. Made from a polyester spandex blend the PumpEaseT is a band that holds mom’s breast pump in place for hands-free pumping. But the major selling points, in addition to its functionality and convenience, is the fun and funky prints that make even pumping seem fashionable. And we also love the charitable donation of one percent of the profits to the BC Women’s Milk Bank (the sole remaining milk bank in Canada). Wendy Armbruster Bell, mom of two girls and advocate for breastfeeding, had her eureka moment after looking for a hands-free pumping system that wasn’t ghastly to look at—with a background in the apparel industry, she found her two passions collide. After three years of research and development, PumpEaseT was introduced to the market, and since leaving her job of more than 21 years at a telecommunications company in April 2008, BC-native Wendy decided to make hands-free pumping a full-time venture. $29-34, PumpEase.
