Paper poinsettias

You'll Need

• scissors

• scrapbooking paper in a variety of patterns

• brads and/or buttons

• craft glue

• dollar-store poinsettia decoration (optional)

Instructions

1. Create a template for a leaf, a larger petal and a smaller petal. Use a dollar-store pointsettia decoration as a guide, if you like.

2. For each poinsettia, you will need three leaves, six large petals and three smaller petals. Trace and cut, leaving a small tab at the end of each leaf for gluing.

3. Glue three leaves together. Allow to dry.

4. Make a crease down the centre of each flower petal.

5. Glue six larger petals to leaves, overlapping slightly. Allow to dry. Attach smaller petals with glue.

6. Attach a brad or button to the centre of your flower.
