Homemade Hopscotch Stones

Send the neighbourhood kids skipping and jumping to your yard with a playful hopscotch path.

Materials

  • Disposable aluminum cooking trays
  • Quick-set concrete
  • Clear acrylic sealer
  • Coloured paints
  • Decorations: loose pebbles, marbles, shattered glass, aquarium stones, beads.

Directions

  • Mix concrete according to directions and fill the disposable moulds with the mixture. Using whatever decorations you’d like, customize and fancy up your stones by pressing the pieces into the wet cement.
  • Let the stones set for at least a week before removing from moulds. Find the perfect spot for your hopscotch, then measure and dig out pieces of lawn for the stones to fit in.
