Here are a few great ways to help your family celebrate life on the high seas

Yarr, mateys! September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. We have a few great ways to help your family celebrate life on the high seas.
First, you’ll have to get your pirate name. Just plug your name into the generator and find out if you’ll be spending the day as Cap’n Aurora Saggingsails or Decayin’ Brody Smythe. Then, you’ll need a handy English to Pirate translator, like this one from talklikeapirate.com.
But we know that no International Talk Like a Pirate Day would truly be complete without a little pirate-y entertainment, so gather your mateys together for a showing of Pirates of the Caribbean or The Princess Bride and chow down on a few of these Mermaid Tail Cookies. Then send your little pirates on a treasure hunt around the house for a special prize—last one to discover the loot has to walk the plank!
