Christina Aguilera, 31, is in the latest issue of Marie Claire, talking about her weight, the success of her show The Voice and, of course, being a single mom.

Xtina is mom to Max, who was born in January 2008. His dad is Christina’s ex-husband, music marketing executive Jordan Bratman (the two split up in September 2010).

Christina tells Marie Claire:

“It’s hard not having the consistency of a partnership on a daily basis. It’s a struggle. But I can’t single out my ex-husband [as the problem] because he’s a devoted father and great with my son. We always make sure that we put Max first. I have help from family and good people around me in support of my career. I couldn’t do what I do without a strong team behind me.”

Even with a team, a supportive family, an involved ex and pots of money, Christina still finds it hard to be a single mom. So, imagine being a single mother without any of those things! Any single moms out there want to tell us how you do it?
