When Child Stars Grow Up Gracefully: Look Who’s a Stunner!

Look who is all grown up! That vision in tulle is none other than a 15-year-old Abigail Breslin, the Oscar-nominated star of Little Miss Sunshine. Breslin was in Los Angeles on December 5th for the premiere of New Year’s Eve—which we have pegged as a front-runner for the worst movie of the year—for the part she played in the ensemble flick (didn’t anyone learn any lessons from the nightmare known as Valentine’s Day? Love Actually was a jewel of a movie, and a one-time thing! Stop trying to replicate it!)

While there’s still the possibility that Breslin will go the way of the Lohan, we strongly suspect and very much hope this won’t be the case, and that she’ll continue to blossom. Oh, and that she’ll make better film choices in the future. (Psst, Abigail: We have heard you were paid $275K for your week’s worth of work on New Year’s Eve and we get that part of it. We’d probably do it too, if we were offered that kind of money. And we also get that the movie features all kinds of famous people who should also know better. Just think about it a little longer next time you’re given an ensemble script that centres around a holiday.)
