No matter how many covers we come across of Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe,” we just can’t get enough of the catchy little tune. Earlier this week we stumbled upon a mash-up of Jepsen’s ubiquitous hit and Third Eye Blind’s “Semi-Charmed Life,” and thought that nothing could be better. But then along came Jimmy Fallon, who filmed his own version of the song with Jepsen and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon house band The Roots, and we realized how very wrong we were.

What makes this version so great is the fact that Fallon, Jepsen and The Roots performed the song using a slew of instruments that you’d probably find scattered around your child’s Kindergarten class, right down to the rainbow xylophone. And if you can find something more awesome on the Internet today than Questlove playing the kazoo, we’d like to see it.
