So, yeah. Kourtney Kardashian, a lesser-known Kardashian sister and mom to 2-year-old Mason, has a so-called “Mommy Blog,” but we’re not sure she knows what the term means. Produced in conjunction with E! Online, the “Mommy Blog” seems to be a series of videos meant to answer common questions she gets about parenting, and to highlight some of her own parenting solutions. So, less of a “blog” and more of a video series. Whatever.
Contained in her “blogs” (okay, we’ll stop putting that in quotes, but seriously…) is all kinds of nonsense that really has no relevance to the non-celebrity-millionaire moms among us.
For example, regarding her favourite moccassins (pictured) for Mason: “He has grown out of these, and every time he grows out, I get a whole new batch in every colour.”
Also, “If I’ve been at a photo shoot the entire day, and I haven’t seen much of Mason that day, I like to take him out to dinner with me.”
And the very practical, “I try to schedule all of my meetings at my house.”
But all jokes aside, contained in these videos are also a few ideas that we can really get behind.
Regarding balancing work and home life, Kourtney says “Whatever works to make a happy child and a happy mom is most important.”
When it comes to kids clothing, she says “I’m not afraid of pink for boys. I love it and Mason loves it.”
And a general parenting thought: “Being a mom, I try to do my best—and I think that’s what all moms should do—and not be judgmental of other moms.”
So, these videos aren’t exactly groundbreaking, nor are they particularly helpful, but given that everyone is bashing poor Kourtney, we thought it was worth mentioning that she does have a few decent thoughts in and amongst the fluff.
