Don’t have a pool? Don’t sweat it—there are plenty of options for cooling down in the summer heat. Pack your cooler with lunches and drinks and head to the beach!
The kids will be anxious to jump in the water after the car ride, so let them wear their bathing suits under their clothes. Protect your little ones from the sun’s rays with hats and sunscreen, and bring some antibacterial baby wipes for an easy way to clean hands and remove sand before lunchtime.
If there aren’t any beaches nearby, check out your city’s website for public pool and splash pad locations for the most convenient cool-down spot.
