What better way to display those A+ tests and art-class creations than with a few of these awesome DIY fridge magnets, made to look like little Polaroid photos? We stumbled across this idea by Jennifer Kirk over at her site, Ambrosia Creative, and are already thinking of making a set for the fridge and one for our office cubicles. They’re too cute!
Because this project involves using a sharp blade to cut out your photos, we think it’s best suited to older kids. However, with supervision, younger kids could help with assembly—not to mention photo selection.
What you’ll need:
• Your favourite family photos
• Photo paper
• Rubber cement
• Exacto knife
• Chip board (think the back of a notebook or really sturdy card stock)
• Clear tape
• Opaque white marker
You’ll find the full instructions for this Tiny Polaroid Magnets craft, as well as a downloadable Polaroid template, over at Ambrosia Creative. We think they’d also make a great homemade gift for friends and loved ones.
