After experiencing a few wet days here in Toronto, we’re really looking forward to the sunshine coming back. To encourage Mr. Sun to stick around for a bit, we found these pretty butterfly suncatchers on MiniEco that we think you and your kiddies will love. They are easy enough for your little ones to give a helping hand and we think the end result will make for some great summer decorations.

What you’ll need:

• Black paper
• Tissue paper (bright colours work best!)
• Pencil crayon
• Scissors
• Craft knife (optional)
• Glue stick

You can find the full step-by-step instructions and photos over at MiniEco. For more summer craft ideas, check out this yummy-looking Paper Popsicle Memory Game or these adorable yarn globes.
