Nothing says Mother’s Day quite like a handmade gift. But can something that is so lovingly created by the hands of your little darling really be this chic? The answer is yes, and it’s pretty easy to make, too!

Inside the locket

What you’ll need:
• Empty makeup compact
• Favourite picture
• Mod Podge
• Resin
• Glue
• Scrapbook paper
• Scissors
• Ribbon
• Necklace chain
• Small charms

Directions:
1. Begin with an empty makeup compact (blush or eyeshadow compacts with a hinge work best) and adhere a definition of mother and a favourite picture to the inside (we used Mod Podge and added resin overtop the photo).

2. Glue pretty, pattered scrapbook paper to the exterior.

3. Finish by attaching a ribbon loop to the top of the locket, stringing it on a chain and adorning with small charms.
