The app lets you create custom invitations, greeting cards, scrapbook pages and other keepsakes without getting a single speck of glitter on the floor. Not happy with your text or the placement of a stamp? You can undo your last steps or delete your project and start over again—no wasted materials, no fuss. When you’re all done, you can easily share your digital creation with family and friends, print it at home or order a professional print of your project from Snapfish.

I put the CraftStudio app to the test and I have to say, it’s really fun! I created a multi-layered birthday card in about 10 minutes, complete with scalloped edges, fancy birthday message and a healthy sprinkling of digital glitter (yes, digital glitter—it’s a craft nerd’s dream come true). The app comes with four theme packages (Birthday Party, Nature, Everyday and Doily Lace). Additional packages can be purchased for $2.

The best thing about this app? You can download it for FREE until July 8th (after that it’s $5). It’s definitely worth the download and is a great app for crafty adults and kids alike. Definitely an inexpensive way to keep your kiddo entertained and busy on a rainy day.
